Privacy policy

This site belongs to me, Piper G. Youtzy. Here is exactly what it collects, what happens to it, and how to change your mind.

What I collect

The only personal information this site collects is what you type into the newsletter form: your name and your email address. There are no other forms on the site.

If you email me, I’ll have your email address and whatever you choose to write.

What I use it for

Your name and email are used to send you my newsletter: book news, events, and the occasional note from behind the scenes. I don’t sell or rent your information, and I don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who handles it for me

• ActiveCampaign stores my mailing list and sends the newsletter. When you sign up, the form sends your name and email straight to them. Like most email services, it can record whether a newsletter is opened and which links are clicked. ActiveCampaign’s privacy policy
• Cloudflare hosts this site. To deliver its pages and protect it from attacks, it processes basic technical information such as your IP address. Cloudflare’s privacy policy

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. It doesn’t follow you across other websites, and it doesn’t let anyone else do that here. Because of that, every visitor is treated the same whether or not their browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.

Your choices

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and one click takes you off the list. To see, correct, or delete the information I hold about you, email contact@pipergyoutzy.com and I’ll take care of it.

Children

This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has signed up, email me and I’ll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects how I use your email address, I’ll tell subscribers in the newsletter.
